  Waters from Freeport to Matagorda Ship Channel TX from 20 to 60

  NM...

  Waters from High Island to Freeport TX from 20 to 60 NM...



* Until 645 AM CDT.



* At 444 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing

  waterspouts were located along a line extending from Galveston Bay

  to West Bay to 8 nm southeast of Palacios Bay, moving southeast at

  30 knots.



  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 

           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 

           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

  Matagorda Island 557, Burnet Bay, Palacios Bay, Galveston 282, High

  Brazos B133, Crystal Bay, and East Galveston Bay.

expected.
