* At 631 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 11 nm northwest of

  New Buffalo, or 11 nm north of Michigan City, moving east at 35

  knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots and small hail.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.
