* At 444 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 9 nm southwest of

  Highway 94 Bridge, or 11 nm southwest of Albemarle Sound, moving

  northeast at 50 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40 to 50 knots.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  Highway 94 Bridge, Albemarle Sound, Bull Bay/scuppernong River, The

  Mouth Of The Perquimans River, The Center Of The Albemarle Sound,

  and The Mouth Of The Alligator River.
