* Special Marine Warning for...

  Chesapeake Bay from New Point Comfort to Little Creek VA...

  York River...



* Until 715 AM EDT.



* At 553 AM EDT, a shower capable of producing waterspouts was

  located over Tue Marshes Light. The shower was nearly stationary.



  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Waterspouts can create locally hazardous seas. Small 

           craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  Tue Marshes Light, New Point Comfort, Mobjack Bay, York Spit Reef,

  and Poquoson.

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.



Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous
