MONDAY EVENING...



* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents expected.



* WHERE...Gulf and Franklin County Beaches.



* WHEN...From late tonight through Monday evening.



* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away 

  from shore into deeper water.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong east breezes will blow across the

  Gulf waters tonight through Sunday morning, creating hazardous

  marine and beach conditions. A high risk of rip currents will

  develop Saturday morning at the beaches, then continue through

  Monday.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and

float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a

direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the

shore and call or wave for help.
