...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM CHST

SATURDAY...



* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 7 to 10 feet.



* WHERE...North facing reefs of Yap.



* WHEN...Until 5 PM ChST Saturday.



* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and  localized

  beach erosion.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The long period northeasterly swell continues

  to slowly subside. This swell will continue to produce hazardous

  surf of 7 to 10 feet along north facing reefs of Yap. Surf will

  gradually diminish through Saturday, possibly falling below 

  hazardous levels Saturday afternoon.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to

dangerous surf conditions.
