...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM CHST TUESDAY...



* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 7 to 9 feet.



* WHERE...North facing reefs of Yap.



* WHEN...Until 5 AM ChST Tuesday.



* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and

  localized beach erosion.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...After tonight, the swell turns more to the

  east and starts to diminish. This in combination with the higher

  surf advisory criteria along east facing reefs should cause the

  advisory to come to an end either late tonight or Tuesday.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to

dangerous surf conditions.
