  Maui County Leeward Waters...

  Oahu Leeward Waters...

  Oahu Windward Waters...

  Pailolo Channel...



* Until 815 AM HST.



* At 722 AM HST, a broad line of thunderstorms extends south of Oahu 

  and across waters around and north of Lanai and Molokai. 

  Individual thunderstorms in this area were moving north to 

  northeast at 20 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  Laau Point, Kalaupapa, Cape Halawa, Lahaina Harbor, Shipwreck

  Beach, Mokulua Islands, Ilio Point, and FAD Buoy K.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Prepare for gusty winds, steep and fast-building seas, and blinding

downpours. Stay low or go below, and make sure all on board are

wearing life jackets.



Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the

open water, stay below deck if possible.
