  Bogachiel River Near La Push affecting Clallam County.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.



Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 

cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE TOMORROW MORNING...



* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Bogachiel River near La Push.



* WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning.



* IMPACTS...At 37.0 feet, the Bogachiel River will cause flooding of 

  State Highway 110 near the Bogachiel bridge...closing the road.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 9:30 PM PST Wednesday the stage was 37.8 feet.

  - Flood stage is 37.0 feet.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours

    ending at 9:30 PM PST Wednesday was 37.8 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to crest now and then fall

    below flood stage late tonight and continue falling to 27.1

    feet late Friday evening.
