...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 PM CDT THIS EVENING...



* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive 

  rainfall is expected.



* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following 

  counties, Kimble and Menard.



* WHEN...Until 1115 PM CDT.



* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 812 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to

    thunderstorms extending across western Menard county

    including Fort Mckavett to 5 miles west of Roosevelt, moving

    east at 35 mph. These storms will moving into Menard and

    Junction. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding.

    Up to 0.5 inches of rain have fallen.

  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over

    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...

    Junction, Menard, Yates Crossing, London, South Llano River

    State Park, Saline, Segovia, Roosevelt, Hext, Telegraph, Fort

    Mckavett, Us-83 Near The Kimble-Menard County Line, Cleo, The

    Intersection Of Us-83 And Ranch Road 1773, The Intersection

    Of Us-83 And Highway 29, Us-377 Near The Kimble-Menard County

    Line, Camp Sol Mayer, Us-83 Near The Kerr-Kimble County Line,

    I-10 Near The Sutton-Kimble County Line and Us-377 Near The

    Kimble-Edwards County Line.

  - This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 434 and 477.



    This includes the following Low Water Crossings...

    Park Road 73 crossing South Llano River, US HWY 377 crossing

    South Llano River, Toe Nail crossing San Saba River, RM 385

    crossing Falls Prong, RM 385 crossing Perdenales River, FM

    2169 crossing Johnson Fork Creek, Decker St. crossing San

    Saba River, US HWY 377 crossing 2 miles North of Telegraph,

    RM 2291 crossings along Bear Creek and crossings along FM

    1221.
