...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1030 PM CDT THIS EVENING...



* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive 

  rainfall is expected.



* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following 

  counties, Mason, McCulloch and San Saba.



* WHEN...Until 1030 PM CDT.



* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 723 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to

    thunderstorms, from Brady to Richland Springs and San Saba,

    moving east at 35 mph. These storms were developing south

    into northern Mason county. This will cause urban and small

    stream flooding. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen.

  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over

    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...

    Brady, San Saba, Mason, Richland Springs, Algerita, Cherokee,

    Voca, Fredonia, Pontotoc, Camp San Saba, Katemcy, Sloan, Camp

    Air, Rochelle, Art, Placid, Brady Lake, Grit, Skeeterville

    and Hedwigs Hill.

  - People attending Richland Springs Coyote Field and Rochelle

    Hornet Pride Stadium should seek shelter immediately.



    This includes the following Low Water Crossings...

    White Street at Live Oak Creek, South Blackburn between

    Adkins and 13th, 17th Street between Pine and College, Hallum

    Draw, FM 1851 crossing Tiger Creek, South High between 14th

    and 15th Streets, FM 1121 crossing Onion Creek, FM 1028

    crossing Corn Creek, FM 1030 crossing Wallace Creek and

    County Road 120 crossing East Cow Creek.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
