...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in 

Arkansas...Oklahoma...



  Little River At Horatio affecting Little River, McCurtain, Howard 

  and Sevier Counties.



For the Little River...including Idabel, Horatio...Minor flooding is 

forecast.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Do not drive cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.



Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 

cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL MONDAY EVENING...



* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Little River at Horatio.



* WHEN...Until Monday evening.



* IMPACTS...At 29.0 feet, The boat ramp recreation area at Wilton, 

  Arkansas downstream from Horatio is flooded and closed. Also the 

  golf course west of Haratio, Arkansas suffers from overflow.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 10:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 28.0 feet.

  - Bankfull stage is 25.0 feet.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours

    ending at 10:00 PM CDT Sunday was 29.2 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage

    late tonight and continue falling to 10.9 feet Friday

    evening.

  - Flood stage is 27.0 feet.

  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of

    28.1 feet on 05/04/1984.
