...The Flood Advisory continues for the following rivers in 

Tennessee...



  Duck River At Columbia affecting Maury County.



For the Duck River...including Hurricane Mills, Centerville, 

Columbia...elevated river levels are forecast.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an 

alternative route.

...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING...



* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.



* WHERE...Duck River at Columbia.



* WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning.



* IMPACTS...At 30.0 feet, Water continues to impact areas along the 

  river and adjacent tributaries including Flat Creek, Fountain 

  Creek, Bear Creek, Lytle Creek, Rutherford Creek, Bigby Creek, 

  Snow Creek, Leipers Creek, Big Bigby Creek, and Catheys Creek. 

  Water begins to impact access points along the river including the 

  Leftwich Bridge, the Iron Bridge and  Yanahli. In Columbia, water 

  begins to inundate portions of Riverwalk Park, and approaches Old 

  Lewisburg Hwy near Fountain Heights Rd.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 9:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 29.8 feet and rising.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 30.0

    feet this afternoon.

  - Action stage is 28.0 feet.

  - Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
