...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in

Florida...Alabama...



  Big Escambia Creek At Flomaton affecting Escambia County.



For the Big Escambia Creek...including Flomaton...Minor flooding is

forecast.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

deaths occur in vehicles.



Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars

through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL SUNDAY AFTERNOON...



* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Big Escambia Creek at Flomaton.



* WHEN...Until Sunday afternoon.



* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Water Water approaches streets and homes in

  southeast Flomaton, along with Highway 31 on the north side of

  town.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 1:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 19.9 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.7 feet

    this evening. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow

    morning.

  - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
