Tennessee...



  Obion River near Obion



For the Obion River...including Martin, Obion, Bogota... Record 

flooding is occurring.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.



Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 

cars through flooded areas.

* IMPACTS...At 41.7 feet, Widespread flooding is occurring in Dyer, 

  Obion, Gibson, and Weakley Counties near the Obion River and its 

  tributaries.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 11:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 40.5 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 40.9

    feet just after midnight tonight.

  - Flood stage is 34.0 feet.
