Mississippi...



  Tallahatchie River near Swan Lake



For the Tallahatchie River...including Lambert, Locopolis, Swan 

Lake...Minor flooding is forecast.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.

NOTICE...



* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Tallahatchie River near Swan Lake.



* WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon until further notice.



* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Low-lying farm land near the river is 

  flooded.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 8:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 23.9 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage

    early Tuesday afternoon and continue rising to 26.0 feet

    early Tuesday afternoon. Additional rises are possible

    thereafter.

  - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
