  Obion River near Bogota



For the Obion River...including Martin, Obion, Bogota...Moderate 

flooding is forecast.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Obion River near Bogota.



* WHEN...Until further notice.



* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Widespread lowland and agricultural 

  flooding is occurring. Water is reaching the outskirts of Bogota.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 8:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 20.6 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage

    Tuesday morning and continue rising to a crest of 22.4 feet

    Wednesday morning.

  - Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
