Arkansas...



  St Francis River Diversion Ditch at Madison



For the Saint Francis River...including Madison...Minor flooding is 

forecast.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM LATE TUESDAY NIGHT TO FRIDAY 

AFTERNOON...



* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...St Francis River Diversion Ditch at Madison.



* WHEN...From late Tuesday night to Friday afternoon.



* IMPACTS...At 33.0 feet, Flooding is occurring on most farm land 

  bordering the river.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 12:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 25.5 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage

    early Wednesday morning to a crest of 32.7 feet early

    Wednesday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage

    Thursday afternoon.

  - Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
