Tennessee...Arkansas...



  Mississippi River at Osceola



For the Lower Mississippi River...including Osceola...Major flooding 

is forecast.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT TO FRIDAY, APRIL 

25...



* WHAT...Major flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Mississippi River at Osceola.



* WHEN...From late tonight to Friday, April 25.



* IMPACTS...At 37.0 feet, In Tennessee, houses along the west part 

  of Grammer Road are flooding and evacuation is cut off. The south 

  end of Grainery Road is inundated. Homesteads along Highway 19 

  West just east of T. Rossinger Road are going underwater. Shoaf 

  Landing Road is flooding. Farmstead on Island 37 floods.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 12:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 24.9 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage

    late tonight to a crest of 37.5 feet Sunday, April 13. It

    will then fall below flood stage Thursday, April 24.

  - Flood stage is 28.0 feet.
