Mississippi...



  Tallahatchie River at Locopolis



For the Tallahatchie River...including Lambert, Locopolis, Swan 

Lake...Minor flooding is forecast.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.

  river.

  - At 11:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 22.9 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage

    late tonight and continue rising to 27.5 feet Tuesday

    morning.

  - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.

  Lambert.

  - At 11:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 29.5 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage

    early tomorrow afternoon and continue rising to a crest of

    33.0 feet Tuesday evening.
