For the Obion River...including Martin...Moderate flooding is 

forecast.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE TOMORROW EVENING...



* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring. 



* WHERE...North Fork Obion River near Martin.



* WHEN...Until late tomorrow evening.



* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Extensive agricultural flooding is 

  occurring along the river and numerous secondary roads are flooded 

  causing access problems.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 10:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 22.7 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is cresting and is expected to fall

    below flood stage tomorrow afternoon.

  - Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
