For the Tombigbee River...including Amory...Moderate flooding is 

forecast.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is 

  forecast.



* WHERE...Tombigbee River near Amory.



* WHEN...Until Wednesday evening.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 10:15 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 21.0 feet.

  - Forecast...The river will rise to 27.0 feet just after

    midnight tonight. It will then fall some Tuesday morning,

    before rising again to 21.8 feet Tuesday evening. It will

    then fall below flood stage early Wednesday afternoon.

  - Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
