...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 AM CDT EARLY THIS

MORNING...



* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.



* WHERE...East Central King County in northwestern Texas...



* WHEN...Until 545 AM CDT.



* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

  Rises in small streams. Water over roadways.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 439 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to

    thunderstorms. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor

    flooding in the advisory area. Up to 3 inches of rain have

    fallen.

  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inch are possible over the

    area. This additional rain will result in the continuation of

    minor flooding.

  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...

    Mainly rural areas of East Central King County.





PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the

dangers of flooding.



Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
