...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in 

Mississippi...Louisiana...



  Pearl River Near Bogalusa affecting Pearl River County and 

  Washington Parish.



For the Lower Pearl River...including Bogalusa, Pearl River...Major 

flooding is forecast.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.



Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 

cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY AFTERNOON UNTIL FURTHER 

NOTICE...



* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Pearl River near Bogalusa.



* WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon until further notice.



* IMPACTS...At 18.5 feet, Woodlands and crop acreage along the river 

  will be flooded. The Bogue Chitto Wildlife Management area will be 

  inundated with water in recreational camps and over access roads.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 11:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 13.5 feet.

  - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage

    Tuesday afternoon and continue rising to a crest of 19.0 feet

    Wednesday evening.

  - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
