...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in 

Mississippi...



  Big Sunflower River At Sunflower affecting Sunflower County.



  Yalobusha At Whaley affecting Leflore and Carroll Counties.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 

cars through flooded areas.



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.



Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 

dangers of flooding.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Big Sunflower River at Sunflower.



* WHEN...Until late Friday evening.



* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Farm roads to catfish ponds become 

  inundated. Jeffcoat road west of river gage floods



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 8:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 21.1 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.5

    feet Tuesday evening.

  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
