Alabama...



  Flint River at Brownsboro affecting Madison County.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 

cars through flooded areas.



Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 

dangers of flooding.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE THIS AFTERNOON...



* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.



* WHERE...Flint River at Brownsboro.



* WHEN...Until late this afternoon.



* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Water begins to flood yards on the 

  downstream side of the Brownsboro Road bridge.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 1:30 AM CDT Monday the stage was 18.3 feet.

  - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is currently cresting and is expected to

    begin to fall this morning. The river is forecast to fall

    below flood stage late this morning and continue falling to a

    stage of 9.1 feet on Friday.

  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
