...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in 

Alabama...



  Alabama River At Montgomery affecting Dallas, Autauga, Elmore, 

  Montgomery and Lowndes Counties.



.Flooding continues on the Alabama River  and a flood warning 

remains in effect.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.

conditions warrant.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING TO LATE THURSDAY 

MORNING...



* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Alabama River at Montgomery.



* WHEN...From this evening to late Thursday morning.



* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Some flooding of low lying areas and 

  secondary roads begins in the Montgomery area. Flooding of the 

  golf course at Maxwell Air Force Base and portions of River Road 

  occurs at stages around 30 feet and higher.

  At 35.0 feet, Extensive flooding of low lands in the area occurs. 



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 8:30 AM CDT Monday the stage was 30.5 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage

    this evening to a crest of 39.3 feet tomorrow evening. It

    will then fall below flood stage late Wednesday evening.

  - Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
