...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in 

Alabama...



  Tombigbee River At Demopolis Lock and Dam affecting Marengo, 

  Sumter, Hale and Greene Counties.



.Flooding continues on the Tombigbee River and a flood warning 

remains in effect.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT UNTIL FURTHER 

NOTICE...



* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Tombigbee River at Demopolis Lock and Dam.



* WHEN...From late tonight until further notice.



* IMPACTS...At 68.0 feet, Flooding of lowlands in the area occurs 

  and cattle should be moved to higher ground.

  At 77.0 feet, Flooding of numerous cabins and trailers near the 

  river can be expected.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 8:15 AM CDT Monday the stage was 58.9 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage

    late tonight and continue rising to a crest of 76.0 feet

    Friday morning.

  - Flood stage is 68.0 feet.
