...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Alabama...



  Cahaba River At Centreville affecting Perry, Bibb and Dallas 

  Counties.



  Cahaba River Near Cahaba Heights affecting Shelby, Bibb and 

  Jefferson Counties.



.Flooding continues on the Cahaba River, and a flood warning remains 

in effect.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.

conditions warrant.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY MORNING TO EARLY TUESDAY 

MORNING...



* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Cahaba River at Centreville.



* WHEN...From Monday morning to early Tuesday morning.



* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Pasture lands begin to flood in the 

  Centreville area. The river walk next to the Commerce building and 

  school is nearly completely flooded by this stage.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 8:15 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 17.8 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage

    late tomorrow morning to a crest of 23.1 feet early tomorrow

    afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow

    afternoon.

  - Flood stage is 23.0 feet.

  Heights area.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 8:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 9.8 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage

    late tomorrow morning to a crest of 14.2 feet early tomorrow

    afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow

    afternoon.

  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
