Missouri...



  Gasconade River at Jerome affecting Phelps County.



For the Gasconade River...including Jerome...Minor flooding is 

forecast.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Gasconade River at Jerome.



* WHEN...Until early Tuesday afternoon.



* IMPACTS...At 18.5 feet, flood waters affect low lying residential 

  areas.





* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 7:45 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 16.6 feet.

  - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours

    ending at 7:45 PM CDT Sunday was 16.6 feet.

  - Forecast...The river will rise to 17.7 feet tomorrow morning.

    It will then fall tomorrow evening. It will rise to 16.3 feet

    Tuesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Tuesday

    afternoon.

  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of

    17.7 feet on 03/21/2020.
