...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in 

Missouri...



  Current River near Doniphan affecting Ripley County.



.River levels continue to fall along the Current River at Doniphan. 

Moderate flooding this morning will quickly fall into minor levels 

this afternoon and then below flood stage by early Tuesday morning.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 

dangers of flooding.



Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 

cars through flooded areas.



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.



Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

  forecast.



* WHERE...Current River near Doniphan.



* WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning.



* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Water begins to flood homes in Doniphan.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 9:30 AM CDT Monday the stage was 18.1 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage

    late tonight and continue falling to 3.8 feet Saturday

    morning.

  - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
