...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in 

Illinois...



  Skillet Fork River at Wayne City affecting Wayne and White 

  Counties.



.River levels are falling along the Skillet Fork at Wayne City, but 

remain above major flood level this morning. Levels will fall below 

flood stage by early Tuesday morning.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 

dangers of flooding.



Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 

cars through flooded areas.



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.



Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHERE...Skillet Fork River at Wayne City.



* WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 9:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 22.1 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage

    late tonight and continue falling to 7.4 feet Saturday

    morning.

  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
