...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in 

Missouri...



  St. Francis River near Patterson affecting Wayne County.



.Heavy rainfall of 4 to 8 inches that occurred across the basin area 

has resulted in river levels rising to moderate levels on the St. 

Francis River near Patterson.



For the St. Francis River...including Patterson, Fisk...Minor 

flooding is forecast.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.



Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 

cars through flooded areas.



Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 

dangers of flooding.



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...St. Francis River near Patterson.



* WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 8:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 19.9 feet.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours

    ending at 8:30 PM CDT Sunday was 28.8 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage

    late tonight and continue falling to 10.8 feet Friday

    evening.

  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
