...REPLACED FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS PREVIOUSLY IN EFFECT...



* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.



* WHERE...A portion of northeast Illinois, including the following 

  counties, Cook, DuPage, Kane and Will.



* WHEN...Until 315 AM CDT.



* IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. 

  Roads and streets may be flooded. Slow moving or standing water 

  may continue.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 919 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges

    indicated that heavy rainfall had ended across the area, but

    flooding due to earlier storms will likely continue for

    several hours.

  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...

    Chicago, Aurora, Joliet, Naperville, Cicero, Hammond,

    Bolingbrook, Orland Park, Tinley Park, Oak Lawn, Berwyn,

    Wheaton, Oak Park, Downers Grove, Elmhurst, Lombard, Carol

    Stream, Romeoville, Plainfield and Calumet City.
