* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.



* WHERE...A portion of northeast Illinois, including the following 

  counties, Kankakee and Will.



* WHEN...Until midnight CDT tonight.



* IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. 

  Roads and streets may be flooded.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 855 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges

    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms, with rainfall

    rates of 1 to 2 inches moving into the area.

  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...

    Joliet, Kankakee, Park Forest, Bourbonnais, Bradley,

    Channahon, Minooka, Steger, Manteno, Braidwood, Wilmington,

    Coal City, Peotone, Momence, Herscher, Crete, University

    Park, Manhattan, Monee and Beecher.
