...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in 

Kentucky...Indiana...



  Ohio River at McAlpine Upper affecting Jefferson, Oldham, Clark 

  and Floyd Counties.



.Heavy rain from the past several days will cause the river to 

remain in flood.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.



Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 

cars through flooded areas.



Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

  forecast.



* WHERE...Ohio River at McAlpine Upper.



* WHEN...Until further notice.



* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Mockingbird Valley Rd. floods south of 

  Mellwood Ave.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 12:00 PM EDT Monday the stage was 33.9 feet.

  - Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours

    ending at 12:00 PM EDT Monday was 33.9 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 37.0

    feet Wednesday morning.

  - Flood stage is 23.0 feet.

  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of

    35.7 feet on 02/26/2018.
