...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM CDT THIS MORNING...



* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.



* WHERE...A portion of Central Kansas, including the following 

  county, Marion.



* WHEN...Until 1100 AM CDT.



* IMPACTS...Several roads remain closed due to flooding, mainly in 

  the Hillsboro to Marion areas.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 743 AM CDT, Doppler radare continued to indicate slow

    moving thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall redeveloping

    across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have

    fallen.

  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...

    Hillsboro and Marion





PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two 

feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't 

drown.
