...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...



* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.



* WHERE...A portion of upstate South Carolina, including the 

  following county, Greenville.



* WHEN...Until 100 PM EDT.



* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 1009 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to

    training heavy showers across the city of Greenville.  New

    rainfall amounts could top out near 2.5 inches, resulting in

    urban type flooding and developing flooding of low-lying

    areas along the Reedy River and select tributaries.

  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...

    Greenville Downtown, Greenville Eastside, West Greenville,

    Mauldin, Taylors, Berea, Five Forks, Welcome, Donaldson

    Center, Cherrydale Point and Paris Mountain State Park.
