...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 AM EDT THIS MORNING...



* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.



* WHERE...A portion of western North Carolina, including the 

  following county, Haywood.



* WHEN...Until 1045 AM EDT.



* IMPACTS...River or stream flows are elevated. 



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 946 AM EDT, Doppler radar was showing that rain had come

    to an end across the advised area. After a 3 inch rainfall,

    high levels of runoff will linger through the Richland,

    Jonathan's and Cataloochee Creek basins. Continue to monitor

    stream rises and flooding of low-lying areas along these

    creeks this morning.



  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...

    Waynesville, Lake Junaluska and Maggie Valley.
