...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in West 

Virginia...Ohio...



  Ohio River At Parkersburg affecting Wood, Washington and Athens 

  Counties.



For the Ohio River...Minor flooding is forecast.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.



Report flooding to the National Weather Service by calling toll 

free, 800 401 9535, when you can do so safely.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY MORNING TO EARLY 

TUESDAY MORNING...



* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Ohio River at Parkersburg.



* WHEN...From Monday morning to early Tuesday morning.



* IMPACTS...At 36.0 feet, Backwater effects will start to cause 

  problems along the Little Kanawha River. Happy Valley Road in 

  Happy Valley starts to flood.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 8:00 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 30.1 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage

    tomorrow morning to a crest of 36.2 feet early tomorrow

    afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow

    evening.

  - Flood stage is 36.0 feet.

  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of

    36.4 feet on 12/10/1978.
