Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE THIS EVENING...



* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Great Miami River at Taylorsville.



* WHEN...Until late this evening.



* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Flooding affects areas outside of flood 

  protection.  Tipp-Cowlesville and Sullivan Roads will be closed, 

  in addition to numerous roads between Rip Rap Road and the river.  

  Sections of Huber Heights near Rip Rap Road Park experience 

  flooding, as well as Eldorado Platt.  Communities which are 

  protected by flood walls and levees are protected to a stage of 60 

  feet.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 6:30 AM EDT Monday the stage was 24.6 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage

    late this afternoon and continue falling, remaining below

    flood stage.

  - Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
