Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL THIS EVENING...



* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Great Miami River at Miamisburg.



* WHEN...Until this evening.



* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Lowland flooding occurs from south of 

  Miamisburg to Franklin, Carlisle, Trenton and New Miami.  Water 

  begins to spill onto low-lying roadways, mainly along portions of 

  Dayton-Oxford Road.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 5:30 AM EDT Monday the stage was 16.5 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage

    this afternoon and continue falling, remaining below flood

    stage.

  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
