Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...



* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Ohio River at Markland Dam.



* WHEN...Until further notice.



* IMPACTS...At 59.0 feet, Backwater flooding can be expected along 

  creeks near the Ohio River and will also affect the Kentucky 

  River.  Lowland flooding becomes widespread near Carrollton, Ghent 

  and Ethridge in Kentucky.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 5:00 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 51.8 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 58.5

    feet Monday evening.

  - Flood stage is 51.0 feet.
