...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 AM EDT SUNDAY...



* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.



* WHERE...The following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Licking 

  and Union. In west central Ohio, Logan.



* WHEN...Until 530 AM EDT Sunday.



* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

  Water over roadways.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 1012 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to

    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin

    shortly in the advisory area. Additional rainfall amounts up

    to a half inch is possible.

  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...

    Columbus, Newark, Reynoldsburg, Delaware, Heath, Granville,

    Pataskala, Johnstown, Buckeye Lake, Hebron, Richwood, Utica,

    Ashley, Lakeview, Hanover, Belle Center, Summit Station,

    Beechwood Trails, Granville South and Fairfield Beach.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.



Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
