...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM CDT SUNDAY FOR 

NORTHWESTERN EAST CARROLL, NORTHERN FRANKLIN, MOREHOUSE, RICHLAND 

AND WEST CARROLL PARISHES...



At 847 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy 

rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have 

fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible in 

the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 

shortly.



HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing

         flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,

         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

  Bastrop, Winnsboro, Rayville, Delhi, Oak Grove, Epps, Mangham, Mer 

  Rouge, Kilbourne, Forest, Collinston, Bonita, Baskin, Pioneer, Oak 

  Ridge, Holly Ridge, Goodwill, Start, Warden and Galion.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.
