...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT CDT TONIGHT THROUGH LATE 

SATURDAY NIGHT...



* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.



* WHERE...Portions of northwest Louisiana, including the following 

  parish, Sabine and Texas, including the following counties, 

  Angelina, Cherokee, Gregg, Harrison, Marion, Nacogdoches, Panola, 

  Rusk, Sabine, San Augustine, Shelby, Smith, Upshur and Wood.



* WHEN...From midnight CDT tonight through late Saturday night.



* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, 

  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. 

  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - Rainfall accumulations of 1.5 to 3 inches are expected within

    the watch area, with locally higher amounts of 4 inches or

    more possible.
