...FLOOD WATCH IS CANCELLED...



The Flood Watch is cancelled for portions of central, eastern, north 

central, and southwest Arkansas, including the following areas, in 

central Arkansas, Conway, Faulkner, Garland, Grant, Lonoke, Perry, 

Pulaski, Saline and White. In eastern Arkansas, Jackson, Lawrence 

and Randolph. In north central Arkansas, Baxter, Cleburne, Fulton, 

Independence, Izard, Sharp, Southeast Van Buren County, Stone and 

Van Buren County Higher Elevations. In southwest Arkansas, Clark, 

Dallas, Hot Spring, Ouachita and Pike.



The threat for additional widespread flooding has ended. Therefore, 

the Flood Watch is being cancelled.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT SUNDAY...



* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be 

  possible.



* WHERE...Portions of central, eastern, southeast, and southwest 

  Arkansas, including the following counties, in central Arkansas, 

  Prairie. In eastern Arkansas, Monroe and Woodruff. In southeast 

  Arkansas, Arkansas, Bradley, Cleveland, Desha, Drew, Jefferson and 

  Lincoln. In southwest Arkansas, Calhoun.



* WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT Sunday.



* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, 

  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. 

  Low-water crossings may be flooded. Extensive street flooding and 

  flooding of creeks and rivers are possible.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - Rain and embedded thunderstorms will continue to gradually

    decrease from the west later this evening. However, the

    threat for flash flooding will continue for several more

    hours until the heavy rainfall tapers off.
