Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Roads and streets may be flooded. Area creeks and streams are already elevated, increasing the risk of flooding due to additional rainfall. Extensive street flooding possible. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Heavy thunderstorms with rainfall rates of 2 to 3 per hour will continue in some locations this evening into the early overnight hours. Numerous streets are either closed or have reports of significant standing water. 3 to 8 inches of rainfall have occurred thus far this afternoon and evening, with the highest amounts along the Interstate 80 corridor.
