...The National Weather Service in Seattle WA has issued a Flood 

Warning for the following rivers in Washington...



  South Fork Stillaguamish River Near Jordan Rd. Bridge affecting 

  Snohomish County.



.Heavy rain over the Northern and Central Cascades Thursday into 

this morning will push the South Fork of the Stillaguamish River 

near Jordan Road Bridge above flood stage this morning.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.



Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 

cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE THIS EVENING...



* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...South Fork Stillaguamish River near Jordan Rd. Bridge.



* WHEN...Until late this evening.



* IMPACTS...At 211.0 feet, the South Fork Stillaguamish River will 

  cause flooding along the river and tributaries.  A stage of 14.5 

  feet corresponds to Phase 2 in the Snohomish County Flood Warning 

  System.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 5:30 AM PDT Friday the stage was 210.8 feet.

  - Flood stage is 211.0 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage

    this morning to a crest of 211.4 feet late this morning. It

    will then fall below flood stage this afternoon.
