...The National Weather Service in Seattle WA has issued a Flood 

Warning for the following rivers in Washington...



  Issaquah Creek Near Issaquah affecting King County.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.



Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 

cars through flooded areas.



Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 

dangers of flooding.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY FRIDAY MORNING...



* WHAT...Major flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of 

  record.



* WHERE...Issaquah Creek near Issaquah.



* WHEN...Until early Friday morning.



* IMPACTS...At 2,800.0 cfs, Issaquah Creek will cause severe near 

  record flooding in Issaquah valley. Deep and swift flood waters 

  will inundate residential and business areas and numerous roads. 

  Flooding will occur all along the river including headwaters...

  tributaries...and other streams within and near the Issaquah Creek 

  Basin.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 5:15 PM PST Wednesday the flow was 1,870.0 cfs.

  - Flood flow is 2,000.0 cfs.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage

    this evening to a crest of 2,880 cfs late tonight. It will

    then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening.
